As an estimator, I am assigned new projects that are out for bid. I gather all data through plans and specifications. I will reach out to all necessary subcontractors and suppliers needed to complete the job and provide them with takeoffs from the plans. Once I am able to gather all estimates, I build the bid/proposal in HCSS to come up with an accurate price for us to complete the project. From there, my role consists of handling all necessary bid requirements and gathering necessary documentation to put together a final proposal for submission.
